Maybe we should call it "basket-brawl".Four NBA players, 2 from the Mavs and 2 from the Lakers, were ejected for scuffling after pushing incident under the basket.
The trouble started when Jason "The Jet" Terry pushed an off balanced Steve Blake to the floor with both hands. Blake and Terry started jawing at each at which point Matt Barnes stepped in and pushed Terry away.
Mavericks assistant Terry Stotts tried to restrain Barnes, who shrugged the assistant coach into the courtside seats.
The mystery here is why Brendan Haywood was also ejected. He basically did nothing except point a finger at Barnes. Could his case be similar to the Artest ejection, during the Odom-Blake fight?
And we're not yet done. With about 2 mins left, Brian Cardinal fouled Pau Gasol with a swat to the head. Shannon Brown, not wanting to miss out on the ejection action, pushed Cardinal away.
