Sure they had Marcus Douthit, a hulking 6'10" center.But they also had JV Casio, Mac Baracael, Marcio Lassiter, Chris Lutz and Japeth Aguilar. And those guys came to play.
Casio had 16points, Baracael contributed 11points, Lassiter scord 15 of his 21 in the first quarter, Lutz had 15 and Aguilar scored 10points in a sterling all-around game for the Nationals.
With a record of 7-1, Smart Gilas are now sure to play in the semifinal round.
