One day after the Cavs' impobable victory over the Heat, another humiliating loss seemed to be in the making for Miami.
It's a good thing John Wall got ejected. And that LeBron James scored 35 points, Dwayne Wade scored 33 points and Chris Bosh scored 26 points.
Things got hot very unexpectedly between these two teams who've never really had any rivalry to speak off.
First, the 7'3" Zydrunas Ilgauskas hits John Wall with his elbow...twice. Then the 6'4" John Wall throws a solid punch at Ilgauskas. Then the 7footer JaVale McGee steps in to pull them apart. Then the 6'9" Juwan Howard pushed McGee almost to the ground. Then everyone else came pouring in.
Here's the video of the fight.
In the aftermath, King Crab himself tried to stir up some more bad blood by going after Maurice Evans. In interviews after the game, LBJ offered up this little gem.
"I don't know if Mo Evans intentionally wants to be dirty."
Going back to the game, rookie point guard Jordan Crawford scored a career-high 39 points after taking over for John Wall. His threepointer with 9 minutes left in the fourth also brought the Wiz to within one of the Heat, 91-90. Wade responded with a threepoint play and the Wizards never threatened again.
What this game means for the Heat is this:
They're not as good as we think they are.
They're not as ready as they think they are.
They're about 3 bad playoff games away from imploding.
I can't wait to see them play the Celtics.
More of the story, here.
