History would have to wait.
Birthday boy Jeson Patrombon failed to rewrite the history books of Philippine tennis when he lost to Australian rival Andrew Whittington 6-2, 6-3 in the final of the Mitsubishin Lancer International Junior Championships.
This is the second time in 2 weeks that Whittington has denied Patrombon a crown.
The 6-2 native of Melbourne dominated Patrombon right from the get-go, silencing the robust Filipino crowd which turned out in support of Patrombon.
Patrombon now turns his sights to his first Futures tournament to be played either in India or Thailand.
