The Azkals play a home-and-away series on June 29 and July 3 in an effort to make some more headway in the Asian football scene. The opponent of the Azkals will be known only when the draw is made on Wednesday, in Kuala Lumpur.
To reach the main stage of the World Cup, the Azkals must go through 6 rounds. The first round is the farthest the Azkals have gotten.
But with its recent success and the continued influx of Fil-foreigners with European experience, the Azkals future seem bright.
How bright is something we must still work on.
