It's a Finals match between the establishment and the upstart.
THE ESTABLISHMENT
The University of Connecticut has a great basketball pedigree, but this season wasn't supposed to last this long. The young Huskies finished their Big East season at .500 and they were a young team hoping to learn how to win on the job. But when the chips were down against mighty Kentucky, the Huskies relied on Kemba Walker to lead them to the championship game. Walker scored 18points, grabbed 6 renounds and gave out 7 assists to help UConn hack out a 56-55 win.
THE UPSTART
Butler, on the other hand, was coming from last year's title match up and was seen as one of the dark horses of the tournament. But, against hotshooting VCU, the 8th seeded Bulldogs looked like the favorite. VCU's high octane offense quickly turned cold against Butler's unforgiving defense and the Butler Bulldogs, a 70-62 winner, now go on to the championship game as the lowest seed (8th) since 1985.
Who will win?
