Reinforcements For The Azkals!

The loss of Neil Etheridge, Chris Greatwich and Rob Gier, three stalwarts from the Azkals team that went to the semi-final round of the AFC Cup, are a major cause of concern for all the die-hard followers of the Azkals.

But never fear, Azkal-lovers, help is on the way!

Jason Sabio, a second year law student from the University of Alabama, is on his way to Japan to rejoin the Azkals. He has taken a year off from his law studies to help the Azkals continue rising to prominence.

He is joined by Simon Greatwich, brother of Chris Greatwich. Simon nearly had the goal of the year in the Azkals game against Mongolia as he almost scored on a twisting overhead bicycle kick.

And while they do not help strengthen the Azkals goal line defense, maybe they can build on "The best defense is a good offense."
