Patrombon survived three grueling matches to reach the finals while Berman had a much easier route, leading to an obviously fatigued Patrombon unable to counter the harder hitting American.
Patrombon still picks up crucial ITF points which will hopefully push him higher up in the rankings.
He now heads for Kuching, malaysia, where he is expected to be the top seed in the 17th Chief Minister Cup.
