If you're a die-hard Azkalero/Azkalera, here's the news you've been waiting for...tickets for the July3 tiff between the Azkals and Sri Lanka go on sale this June 3!The main problem...the most affordable tickets are priced at 200pesos at you sit behind one of the goals. The next section is priced at 300pesos and you get to sit at the exposed part of the bleachers.
After that, prices take a giant leap up as sitting in the upper level means shelling out 2000pesos while seats at the lower level are priced at 3000pesos.
What's so disappointing is that this pricing scheme will turn away hundreds of Azkaleros who can't afford the ticket price. Compare that to the FIBA-Asia Champions Cup. The most expensive tickets is priced at 250pesos. You can even get a gallery seat for 10pesos.
So much for making football the sport of the masses.
