Bacolod City was named top seed of its group, which is includes NCR2, Dipolog (the Mindanao leg runner up) and Masbate, the Luzon elimination round top bet. Their games will be held at the Panaad pitch in Bacolod City.
Davao, on the other hand, gained pole position over Laguna (Luzon runner up), NCR1 and Iloilo (Visayas runner up). Their games will be played at the UP-Los Banos pitch.
Standouts from this tournament will be invited to join the country's U-23 squad seeing action in this year’s SEA Games in Indonesia.
Some Azkals are also seeing action in the tournament. These include Yannick Tuason (NCR), David Basa (NCR), and Jerry Barbaso (Dipolog).
