Usually, the last kid picked is either scrawny or obese, uncoordinated or lumbering, slow or uncomprehending.
In the case of the NFL draft, the last pick is none of those things. But, to NFL pundits and watchers, he is kinda irrelevant. So much so that he is actually called "Mr. Irrelevant".
And this year's Mr. Irrelevant is...Cheta Ozougwu, a defensive end from Rice University. He's 6'2", weighs around 240 pounds and logged 198 tackles plus 11 sacks in his last college season.
Still, he is deemed not big enough to be an "every down" defensive end nor is he fast enough to be a specialty end.
So now, he has to show that he has what it takes to make an NFL and become relevant again.
More on this story, here.
