Icy Reception For Azkals!

The temperature dropped to -24degrees.

The pitch turned almost ice-like. The wind was akin to wolves biting into the flesh of the askal, which is more used to the dank, humid streets of Manila.

Aside from the weather, the Azkals also were not able to change out of their clothes as their luggage has been lost on the way to Ulan Bator.

Still, the Philippine Azkals are trying to keep their confidence high, despite the fact that this is the first time they are facing conditions like these. In fact, the resilient Azkals are expecting even better results this time around, as a result of their focused training period under head coach Weiss.

An unexpected perk? Filipino fans who have shown up at the team's hotel room to show support.
