Blue Samurai Hope Friendlies Ease Nation's Plight!

Many Japanese cities and buildings were shattered by the  8.9 magnitude earthquake. The Blue Samurai hope to rally the community together by playing friendlies.

The Japanese Football Association announced that scheduled friendlies against Montenegro and New Zealand will go on, in a effort to get the mind of the Japanese people off the devastation brought on by the killer quake.

This announcement came after all soccer matches in Japan's top leagues were canceled.

"The entire Japanese football community needs to help the country get back on its feet again," JFA secreatry general Kozo Tashima added. "Not just soccer, but I think the whole sports world in Japan needs to step up for the nation."
