The Philippine Dragon Boat Team has struck gold twice more, winning the 200m Small Boat event and the 500m Premier Open Mixed event.
Their four golds have already exceeded the exploits of any other national team this year, a fact that seems to have escaped the attention of local media outlets and government officials.
With the competitions drawing to a close on Sunday, the Pinoy paddlers affectionately called the "Dragon Warriors" still have a chance to reap even more glory for the Philippines.
