Omens To An Azkals Victory?

The Azkals were in Japan when a magnitude 9 earthquake shook the country. They went on to make the finals of the Asian Football Confederations tournament the following week.

The Azkals played in a deluge in the second leg of the World Cup qualifiers. They went on to win 4-0.



If an earthquake and rain are portents of an Azkals victory, then we have nothing more to fear as Typhoon Juaning visited the country last Tuesday, the exact same time that a magnitude 6.2 earthquake hit Luzon.

Either way, the Azkals are well aware that they need some sort of miracle to make it to the third round of the World Cup qualifiers.
