He lost his first two pro matches before he won his first one. Two matches later, he's still winning.
Jeson Patrombon, the former top Pinoy junior netter, won over India's Ajai Selvaraj, 5-7, 7-6 (2), 6-0, and advanced to the second round of the India Futures Tournament in Chennai.
The ailing Patrombon was actually suffering from intestinal flu but he still defeated his fellow qualifier, who stood a staggering 6'1" tall.
Patrombon actually started out on the wrong foot in the first set, but soon managed to get on track in the second set. He then rode on his second set momentum to coast to the win.
His next opponent is second seed Vishnu Vardhan of India, currently ranked No. 368 in the world.
