Say what you want about the un-sexiness of the Mavs but they are just one win away from being the 2011 NBA champions.
Dallas led virtually the entire way and leaned on 2 clutch threepointers from the Jasons, Kidd and Terry, to pull away in the last 2 minutes of Game 5 in the 2011 NBA Finals.
Once again, it was Dirk Nowitzki who led the charge for the Mavs, with 29 points and 6 rebounds, while Terry added 21 points and JJ Barea, 17.
The Heat were led by their Big Three, with Dwayne Wade scoring 23 and handing out 8 assists, Chris Bosh with 19 points and 10 rebounds and Lebron James with a triple double (17 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists)
But Lebron also scored just 2 points in the 4th quarter, leading to even more question about his performance. In one particularly distressing sequence, James missed a long 2, missed a 3 then got called for charging while Dallas turned a 1-point lead to 5 points.
Game 6 is at Miami, where the Heat have the unenviable task of winning 2 straight games against the Mavs.
