ONE OF THE FIRST EVER BASE JUMPING ATTEMPTS IN HISTORY.
Franz Reichelt, a tailor by profession, invented an outfit which would allow a person to float safely down from a building. In 1912, he set out to test his invention by jumping from the Eiffel Tower.
