The last time we saw Jason De Jong, he was getting fired by his club.
Since then, the Azkal has been trining in the Netherlands, trying to keep in shape both physically and mentally.
Now, he has returned to the Azkals in their time of need, cap in hand, apologies on his lips and willing to sacrifice for the team.
And if there was a time that we needed a young, energetic, physical and experienced defender, now would be that time. With Ally Borromeo and Stephan Shrock out of commission for the Kuwait match, Jason De Jong's hulking presence in would be more than appreciated.
