Sources say that Ricky Rubio, the Spanish wunderkind has already signed a deal with Minnesota and that all that's left to do is finalize his buyout from Barcelona.Rubio helped Barcelona win the ACB championship last Tuesday and seemed to have set his sights on bigger fish to fry.
Rubio was drafted by the Timberwolves in 2009 with the fifth pick, then also picked point guard Johnny Flynn.
And with Flynn going in and out of the rotation, hopes in Minnesota are that Rubio can be the crebral leader and pointman who can bring Michael Beasley and Kevin Love to a higher level of play.
