Worried About Smart-Gilas?

Don't be.

That is Coach Rajko Toroman's message to all Gilas supporters who have been concerned of the team's state after the Nationals lost to the Ginebra Gin Kings in the semifinal round of the Commissioner's Cup.

In fact, everybody in the PBA, from coaches to officials, were all praises for the national team as they drew raves for poise, toughness, skill and execution.

They aim to be even tougher with the inclusion of Asi Taulava, Dondon Hontiveros and possibly Kelly Williams and Jimmy Alapag to the national team.

The upcoming FIBA-Asia Champions Cup should prove to be a better gauge of where the Smart Gilas team is in comparison to other Asian teams as they will be going up against ranked teams from Lebanon, Qatar, Jordan and Iran.
