Gerald Anderson Trying Out For PBA D-League?

First, we had football players thinking about being actors. now we have actors thinking about being professional basketball players.

Gerald Anderson, of Kimerald fame, has been practicing with the PBA D-League team NLEX Road Warriors. A natural shooting guard, Anderson is trying to displace well known and well entrenched players like Pamboy Raymundo, former Ateneo hotshot Erik Salamat and ex-PBA player Ogie Menor.

Here's a clip of Anderson playing in some sort of celebrity league.

He's got range, evident from about 3 made three pointers and he makes his freethrows but that's against fellow celebrities. How's he going to measure up to players who are bigger, quicker, more athletic and, more importantly, have been doing nothing but play basketball for the past 10-15 years.

My advice to him is...don't quit your day job.

More of the story, here.
