Azkals Start At Bottom Of FIFA Asia Rankings!

Azkals crush Bangladesh, 3-0, in AFC Challenge Cup.
Azkals draw Myanmar, 1-1, courtesy of a miraculous Myanmar shot.
Azkals draw rough and tough Palestine, 0-0.
Azkals defeat AFF Suzuki Cup defending champion Vietnam, 2-0.
Azkals defeat Mongolia 2-0 in home game.
Azkals defeat Timor Leste 5-0.

What do those teams have in common? They are all ranked higher than the Azkals in the FIFA Asia Zonal competitions.

The Azkals are currently tied for 42nd-43rd place with Laos. Myanmar is tied at 40th-41st place, Timor Leste is at 38th place. Palestine is at 37, Mongolia at 35. Vietnam is tied with Sri Lanka at 33-34 while Bangladesh is at 32.

These rankings are based on the Asian qualifying round of the World Cup, as well as the World Cup finals held in South Africa.

The Azkals may be at the bottom now but I have no doubts that they will rise pretty quickly and crack the top 25 by the end of the year.
