More March Madness Moments! (The Shot)

With March Madness moving on to the Elite Eight, we take a look at some more magical March Madness moments.

For today, we'll take a look at what is considered the most memorable shot in the history of the NCAA Tourney.

"THE SHOT"

When you talk about March Madness, "The Shot" always means Christian Laettner's last second, back to the basket, game winning jump shot over rival Kentucky. Duke won, 104-103, in was is still referred to as "the greatest college basketball game ever".

Christian Laettner has the distinction of being one of only four players to play in 4 Final Fours and the only one is the history of college basketball to start in all four. With the one-and-done strategy of high school ballers nowadays, it is unlikely that his accomplishment will ever be equalled.

Here's a video of the shot.
