Gilas starters Marcio Lassiter and Chris Lutz have been declared ineligible to play in the FIBA Asia Championships, dealing an immense blow to the Philippines' campaign.
Lutz andLassiter are tough-nosed defenders who are also deadeye shooters and slashers. Their departure leaves Mac Baracael as the only true small forward on the team. This means Ranidal de Ocampo, Kelly Williams or Japeth aguilar must slide over to the SF position.
