Bacolod Booters Qualify for Suzuki Cup Semis!

In football, a score of 8-1 is not just a rout. It's a massacre.
But then again, what do you expect when mighty Bacolod City encounters any team not named Iloilo?

The Bacolod booters were once again led by brilliant Joshua Beloya, who scored 5 goals in the 8-1 Dipolog debacle. The Fil-Am, who traces his roots to Bacolod City, now has 12 goals in 5 matches. What makes his feat even more admirable is the fact that he became a starter just 2 games ago.

But Bacolod isn't just a Beloya team. Also shining in the spotlight is Jovin Bedic, who has 5 goals in the tourney , and Aldrin Dolino, who has 4 goals.

The remarkable performance of the Bacolod booters have attracted the attention of Azkals assistant coach Edwin Cabalida, who is scouting players for the SEA Games team. Aside from Beloya and Dolino, Cabalida is rumored to be looking at NCR goalie Patrick Deyto.
