They may be young but they're raring to make the country proud!
Naiza Petecio will be competing in the 48kg for 15-16 year olds while Winnie Varano will fight in the 51kg category for 17-18year olds in the World Junior Youth Women’s Boxing Championship which will be held on April 24 to May 1 in Antalya, Turkey.
Petecio and Varano, who both trained under 1996 Olympian Elias Recaido, left today to make it in time for the tournament.
