Ginebra Gets Jump On Gilas, 97-96!

Dominating the regular season may not be easy but it's certainly easier than dominating the playoffs.

That was the lesson learned last night by the Smart Gilas team as they crumbled in the last few minutes against a veteran Ginebra team. 97-96.

Nate Brumfield matched Marcus Douthit point for point and added two clutch plays to lead the Gin Kings over the Nationals.

While Brumfield was scoring Ginebra's last five points and grabbing the offensive rebound off a Miller miss, Douthit was missing his free throws, allowing the Gin Kings to complete the comeback victory.

Mark Caguioa scored 16 points for Ginebra while Mac Baracael came up with 21 points and Mark Barroca had 15points for Smart Gilas.
