Are The Bulls The Best In The East?

If today's game is any indication, then the answer is yes.

Derrick Rose scored 30 points in leading the Bulls to a 97-81 victory over the Boston Celtics and an almost sure grip on the number one seed in the East.

With 4 more games left, the Bulls are 4 games up on both Miami and Boston. While the Heat have virtually no shot at the top seed, the Celtics retain a mathematical chance, albeit an unlikely one.

Derrick Rose seems to have hit a higher gear as he toyed with the usually effective Rajon Rondo en route to a 16 point first half. He also had ample support as Luol Deng scored 23points while being defended by Paul Pierce while Carlos Boozer added 14 points and 12 rebounds going up against Kevin Garnett.

In contrast, the Celtics's Big Four had a bad offensive night, getting only 15 points from Paul Pierce, 10 points from Kevin Garnett, 7 points from Ray Allen and 7 points from Rajon Rondo.

The rivals expect to meet each other in the conference finals.

More of the story, here.
