Cavs Vs. Warriors: Predicting the Sorta Predictable

So, here we are, exactly where we thought we'd be at the start of the season.

Here are some of my predictions for the series.

Game 1 Winner: Like Lebron said, Game 1 is about feeling things out. He's going to use Game 1 to try to gauge just how high he needs to go for them to win the series. Does he need to go Boston series-mode? Or just Raptors series-mode? Either way, don't expect 48minutes of hell from Lebron just yet.

Finals MVP: Stephen Curry. This is the year he finally gets his due, as Lebron buckles down on containing Durant. The suddenly inept George Hill, the on-again, off-again Jordan Clarkson, and the forgot-how-to-ball JR Smith won't be nearly enough to contain him.

Series/Championship Winner: Warriors. Quantity trumps quality in this one, especially since the Warriors have 2 players right at Lebron James' level (Durant, Curry) and two others just below it (Thompson, Green). So yeah, Lebron isn't enough and Warriors win 4-2.

The X-Factor: Andre Iguodala. Because of course he is. He is still athletic enough to bother Lebron, quick enoough to stay with him and intelligent enough to maximise his opportunities. I also believe Steve Kerr when he said that the Rockets series would have been over in 5 had Iggy played.

That being said, it's now time to enjoy the games.
