Miami Heat Plan To Get Younger And Quicker!

In the first year of the LBJ-DWade-CBosh "dynasty", the Miami Heat made it to the NBA Finals with a roster that was as old as Methuselah.

This year, Pat Riley is aiming to make the team younger and quicker. The new Heat masterplan started with the drafting of speedster Norris Cole and, by all indications, he won't be the last young-and-quick player the Heat will be going after.

Riley announced that the Heat will hold "tryouts" for free agents in a bid to identify young players who they can develop as the Heat make another drive for the championship.

Of prime importance are quick guards who can stay with the likes of Derrick Rose, Chis Paul, Deron Williamsm, JJ Barea, Joe Johnson and Russell Westbrook.

Which, of course, means bad news for the likes of Mike Bibby, Erick Dampier, Juwan Howard and Jamal Magloire.
