The UAAP seem to have it all this season. Exciting rookies. Revamped teams. Clutch performances. Late game heroics.
The one thing the UAAP doesn't seem to have is a team who can beat the Blue Eagles of the Ateneo De Manila.
The Blue Eagles toyed with the UP Fighting Maroons en route to a 73-58 victory, upping their record to a squeaky clean 12-0 slate. If Ateneo sweeps the elimination round, they automatically get seeded into the Finals, where they will enjoy a virtual 1-0 lead over their opponents in a best-of-five series.
That would most probably be the Adamson Falcons, who solidified their hold on second place by winning over the UE Red Warriors 76-57. The Falcons are now at 9-3 and aiming for a twice to beat advantage int he semifinal round.
