For the Azkals to emerge victorious, here are 3 crucial things that must happen:
Guirado, Phil Younghusband and Schrock must dominate up front. The trio must become a cohesive offensive force that should force the Sri Lankan defense to errors and gambles. An early goal can mean a more desperate Brave Reds team and more chances for the Azkals to capitalize.
The defensive backline must stay at home. They were beaten badly several times in the last game. They can't afford to get beaten time and again because sooner or later, it's going to spell disaster.
Maintain composure. The Sri Lankans have figured out that the Azkals can be thrown off their games with physical play and bad acting. Expect them to resort to even more of that today.
That being said, I truly believe today will be a statement game for the Azkals.
