BOSTON BRINGS BACK HISTORY!

I had Boston winning it in a thrilling, down the wire Game 7.

Instead, we got a snorer of a Game 6 that was effectively over mideway through the 3rd quarter, when Boston erected a 30pt lead...without Ray Allen.

Jesus Shuttlesworth finally ended up with 26, as did Kevin Garnett, who made good on his promise to get back at Pau Gasol for outplaying him in Game 5. Paul Pierce scored 17pts even as Rajon Rondo broke out with 21pts.

For the Lakers, Kobe was the lone bright spot and this proved, once again, tat basketball is a team sport.

To Boston, congratulations, and thanks for making me a semi-correct prophet.
